Raven started playing music and singing at a very young age. Her first song she ever sang was in church at the age of 5. She’s always loved singing and performing. As a teenager, she fell in love with bluegrass music and started learning to play the mandolin. The Raven Welch Band was formed when she was 15 years old and serves as a platform to share her love of bluegrass and gospel music and the Lord. She’s traveled throughout the southeast playing and singing for many years with not only, the Raven Welch Band, but a gospel group called One Goal.

In her spare time, she recently started setting up a bluegrass festival in Ducktown, TN which is near her hometown of McCaysville, GA. Presently she resides in Dawsonville, GA with her husband, Rodney, of 7 years and works full-time as a registered nurse.
