Mission
The mission of the Georgia Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame is to honor, preserve, and promote the rich heritage of bluegrass music across our state. We celebrate and recognize the pioneers, artists, and contributors whose talent and dedication have shaped the genre, while inspiring future generations through education, recognition, and community engagement. Our purpose is to ensure that Georgia’s bluegrass traditions continue to thrive, resonate, and unite people through the timeless power of authentic acoustic music.
At this time, there is no physical building or location that is the Georgia Bluegrass Music Hall Of Fame. We will continue our mission with a Virtual Online presence here on the georgiabluegrass.org website and evaluate opportunities for the future.
On April 11th 2026, we had the pleasure to announce the inaugural class of inductees into the Georgia Bluegrass Music Hall Of Fame at the Historic Everett’s Music Barn in Suwanee, Ga. The New Members were selected from the 1950/60’s era of Bluegrass Music in The State Of Georgia.
The Official Induction proceedings are still under consideration and we hope to finalize that process soon.
A Special Thanks to the Everett’s Music Barn for allowing us the opportunity during their annual Spring Fundraiser event to announce the new members of the Georgia Bluegrass Music Hall Of Fame!

The Georgia Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame is a new project created specifically to celebrate bluegrass music. It is in no way intended to replace or compete with the already well-established organizations that have recognized—and will continue to recognize—musicians throughout the state of Georgia. Each of these organizations have generously included bluegrass and we will share that story with ever-greatful appreciation.
