The Silver Valley Boys recently completed recording sessions at GreeneGrass Studio, marking an exciting step forward as the band prepares to release the first installment of a two-part album project. The sessions were produced by Kameron Keller of the Lonesome River Band, whose experience and deep roots in bluegrass helped guide the project and shape the overall sound of the recordings. Working at Greene Grass Studio allowed the band to capture the music they have been developing through rehearsals and live performances over the past year.

The recordings will make up Part I of a planned two-part album, featuring material that reflects the band’s traditional bluegrass influences along with their growing catalog of gospel and acoustic songs. The project also included a special guest performance by Daniel Norton, who contributed Dobro on the recordings. His playing added another layer of depth to the album and complemented the band’s traditional instrumentation. With part one of the studio work now complete, the Silver Valley Boys are looking ahead to several upcoming live performances across the region.

Upcoming Performances • March 13 – Williamson Music Barn – Williamson, Georgia • April 11 – Everett’s Music Barn – Suwanee, Georgia • May 16 – Bobbie’s Pickin Barn – St. George, South Carolina • July 31 – Ridge Jam – Blue Ridge, Georgia • August 1 – Ridge Jam – Blue Ridge, Georgia More details about the upcoming album release will be announced as the project moves closer to completion.
