The Georgia Bluegrass Music Hall Of Fame
The First Class Of Inductees will be announced On April 11th at the Historic Everett’s Music Barn Spring Fund Raiser Event!
The mission of the Georgia Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame is to honor, preserve, and promote the rich heritage of bluegrass music across our state. We celebrate and recognize the pioneers, artists, and contributors whose talent and dedication have shaped the genre, while inspiring future generations through education, recognition, and community engagement. Our purpose is to ensure that Georgia’s bluegrass traditions continue to thrive, resonate, and unite people through the timeless power of authentic acoustic music.
The Georgia Bluegrass Music Hall Of Fame was created to continue the noble task of recognizing Bluegrass Music in the state of Georgia and give it a home to do so. We have been working hard on the infrastructure/process to assure this hall is meaningful and continuous as we move forward.
Created in November of 2025, and introduced on January 1st 2026, we are starting our third (3rd) month of existence and we look forward to a bright future celebrating Bluegrass in Georgia. With that being said, the Inductees announced on April 11th will be the very first members of the Georgia Bluegrass Music Hall Of Fame.
The Georgia Bluegrass Music Hall Of Fame is connected and part of the Georgia Bluegrass Project ( www.georgiabluegrass.org ) website which is dedicated to preserving bluegrass in Georgia’s yesterday, today and tomorrow. User participation is an important part of this overall project as we tell the story of bluegrass music in Georgia including the Heritage Project, The six (6) Georgia Bluegrass Registry’s, The seven (7) Georgia Bluegrass Jukebox’s, Photo Galleries, Music Events Schedule, and the Georgia Bluegrass News.
Please invite your friends to attend the Everett’s Music Barn Spring benefit show on April 11th. It will be a great day of Bluegrass in Georgia!
