Navigating The Website
The Georgia Bluegrass website uses both a Top Menu and a Side Menu navigation format to help you move effectively through the website. The Side Menu operates on two types of navigation buttons.
1. A simple link will take you to the described page with a click
2. A Details link ( > )will open to a more expansive list of links you can choose from. These List Links will have a > beside the List title and will expand once you click on the Title. Give it a try!
Test Detail Link Title
As you can see, this will provide much more details. When you click back on the detail link Title, you will see that the expansion information disappears. This is used to maximize the menu and page space
Our Cornerstone Projects:
1. The Georgia Bluegrass Music Heritage Project
Celebrating the pioneers who shaped bluegrass in Georgia, this project documents their legacies, stories, and enduring influence on American roots music. Through historical research, storytelling, and archival preservation, the Heritage Project ensures that the earliest contributors are never forgotten.
2. The Georgia Bluegrass Music Registry
The Registry serves as a comprehensive community directory—connecting musicians, bands, venues, promoters, and fans throughout the state. Whether you’re looking a festival/show, book talent, collaborate with artists, discover live music in your region, or just reconnect with old friends, the Registry is the heart of Georgia’s bluegrass network.
3. Georgia Bluegrass: Today & Tomorrow
Along with current Bluegrass News in Georgia, this initiative introduces bluegrass to new audiences and encourages the next generation of pickers. The Today & Tomorrow project strengthens bluegrass appreciation statewide and nurtures young and emerging musicians.
4. The Georgia Bluegrass Jukebox
The Georgia Bluegrass Jukebox is a collection of audio files of performances of Georgia Bluegrass Bands and Artist. This project has a “Bluegrass Jukebox” for each decade starting in the 1970’s up to present day. The Georgia Bluegrass Jukebox collection, like all other projects here at Georgia Bluegrass, is user generated. Please submit your audio file(s) and help build the Georgia Bluegrass Jukebox project!
5. The Georgia Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame
The Georgia Bluegrass Music Hall Of Fame
The Hall of Fame honors the exceptional achievements and lifetime contributions of Georgia’s bluegrass musicians, bands, venues, and community champions. It stands as a tribute to those who have advanced the genre, inspired others, and helped define the sound of bluegrass in Georgia.
